Frequently Asked Questions
What people ask before they hand us an event.
NEXTCUE manages events end to end for companies, government departments, venues and precincts, and marketing teams across Brisbane and Australia. If your question is not here, ask us directly.
Common questions
What types of events does NEXTCUE manage?
Corporate conferences and summits, award nights and gala dinners, product and venue launches, bespoke and milestone celebrations, runway shows and brand reveals, festivals, and touring and multi-city programs. We also advise teams running their own events.
Do you manage the whole event, or only parts of it?
Either. Most clients hand us the whole lifecycle: strategy, scope and budget, venue sourcing, logistics, content and speakers, creative direction, styling, entertainment, technical design, production coordination, compliance, run sheets, show calling and on-site delivery. If you only need part of that, we scope to that part.
What is included in end-to-end event management?
Strategy, concept development, budgets, venues, logistics, creative direction, styling, entertainment, event content, speakers, technical design, production coordination, run sheets, show calling, guest experience and on-site delivery. NEXTCUE can manage the full lifecycle or a defined part of it.
Is NEXTCUE a production supply or equipment-hire company?
No. NEXTCUE provides independent event management, creative and technical design, production planning and supplier coordination. We brief, procure and coordinate the right staging, audiovisual, lighting, entertainment and specialist partners for each event rather than selling an in-house equipment package.
Does NEXTCUE provide event and venue project consulting?
Yes. NEXTCUE advises on event and venue projects including service requirements, operational workflows, procurement input, stakeholder alignment, implementation coordination and delivery readiness for government, venue and company teams.
Where does NEXTCUE operate?
We are based in Brisbane and deliver across Australia, including multi-city tours, festivals and corporate roadshows.
Can you work with our existing venue and suppliers?
Yes. We can manage the partners you already have, bring in suppliers from our network, or do both. Either way we brief everyone against the same run sheet so there is one version of the plan.
How do you keep an event on budget?
We build the budget around the outcome you need, then defend it. You get itemised costs, we hold suppliers to quoted rates, and we tell you early when something will not fit so the trade-off is your decision rather than a surprise on the invoice.
How do you make sure the day runs to plan?
A run sheet everyone actually works to, a clear order of who calls what, and experienced staff on the ground. Things still move on the day; the difference is whether there is a plan for it and one person accountable for the call.
Do you work with government departments?
Yes. We deliver events for government departments and public-sector teams, and we are used to working through procurement, approvals, accessibility and reporting requirements.
How do we get started?
Tell us the objective, the audience and the date, by phone on 07 3507 1800 or by email at Team@nextcue.com.au. We will come back with a delivery plan, a realistic budget and a run of show.
